Rules + Prize

Two-tour pool, three modes, one combined total. Everything below works for both Men's and Women's draws separately, but they add to the same score.

🏆 The prize, and the punishment

$

Winner picks the dinner. Loser pays.

Whoever ends Wimbledon with the highest total picks the restaurant. The lowest-scoring entry picks up the tab — $80 maximum, cocktails included if you bag a Wimbledon-themed bar.

Ties broken by Men's bracket points, then Women's bracket points, then earliest entry created. Bring an appetite. Pimm's cup encouraged.

1 · Player Draft

Two squads of 8 players each — one Men's, one Women's. 20-point cap per squad. Prices come from the seed list. Top seed costs 10pt. Unseeded floor at 1pt.

Fibonacci-ish ladder

Every round still matters even if you're "out" — a deep dark-horse run outscores an early-exit chalk pick. Two-time defending champion lost in R64? Bad for your draft, but the +2 they banked still counts.

2 · Bracket Pick'em

Pick winners from R32 onwards in both draws. 31 picks per draw, 62 total. R128 + R64 are handled by the daily wildcard instead — no need to log in 250 picks.

R16+2+0.5 × seed-gap-tier
QF+4+1 × seed-gap-tier

Confidence weighting (QF / SF / F)

Rank your 4 QF + 2 SF + 1 F picks 1-7. Payout × (rank / 4). NCAA-style. Rewards conviction, punishes "chalk every line and pray."

3 · Daily Wildcard

Total scoring + tiebreakers

Total = Men's draft + Women's draft + Men's bracket + Women's bracket + daily wildcards

Tiebreakers:

  1. Bracket Pick'em total (Men's + Women's)
  2. Men's bracket total alone
  3. Women's bracket total alone
  4. Wildcard streak length
  5. Earliest entry timestamp

Spirit of the game

It's a Wimbledon dinner pool. We're not selling anything. Don't argue about the +0.5 × seed-gap-tier on a confidence-weighted upset bonus — that's how you don't get invited next year.
